Leather Bound Mother Ghoul's Curses and Rhymes

I finally made a leather bound Monster Book of  Mother Ghoul’s Curses and Rhymes.

After all of my worry about making it, it turned out to be the printing that was the problem.  The binding went smoothly, except for one hole I drilled.  It went a little crooked.  But since it is covered up by material and glue, I don’t think anyone will see it unless they tear the book apart.

While Printing, I started off using the word processor’s book printing which prints all the odd pages first and then, after you turn the paper over, all the even sides.

The only problem I had was that it kept pushing all that wouldn’t fit into the page to the next page which would off set the next page until I had a mess.

As I said once before I seem to go about things the hardest way possible.

So I copied a page at a time and pasted it as a Picture .bmp format. Now I have all these files with a lot of MBs sitting in my documents folder.

But it worked a lot better after I made a chart for the printing of the pages.

I printed them so that on one side of the paper pages 1 and 4 are printed and the other side has 2 and 3. This way the page can be folded in half  for binding and doesn’t need to be cut. It worked out quite well.

I left a blank sheet at the front and back for gluing to the book cover.

Now all I need to do is draw the cover. I probably should have done that at the beginning before binding, But since I will be using markers, I didn’t think it would matter unless I goofed.

So I had better make sure that I don’t goof!
